Ms. Pecylak’s 8th grade Family and Consumer Sciences class had their “20 Year Reunion” today! Students used the skills they learned in class to create invitations, a menu, prepare food, and bake a cake for their mock reunion. Then, they made up personas for their future selves and worked on their networking skills by socializing and asking questions about what their classmates do for a living. A special thank you to the Greenville Class of 2003 (who graduated 20 years ago in June!) for sending in videos of themselves talking about what they were like back in high school, and what they’re up to now!

Students in Mr. Lacy’s Sports and Entertainment Marketing class visited Syracuse University today! Their trip included a tour of the Carmelo Anthony Center and Lally Athletic Complex (formerly Manley Field House). They took home basketball posters, watched a ‘Cuse basketball game (paying special attention to the in-game sponsorships and marketing promotions), ate at the iconic Dinosaur BBQ for lunch, and Chick Fil A for breakfast! Well worth the 6am bus ride to Syracuse! Mr. Lacy’s class would like to thank the Greenville Educational Foundation for sponsoring their field trip!
