DIGNITY FOR ALL STUDENTS ACT

This webpage provides information and resources related to the Dignity for All Students Act (effective July 1, 2012) in New York State

Greenville CSD strives to provide its students with a safe and supportive environment free from discrimination, intimidation, taunting, harassment and bullying on school property, a school bus and/or at a school function.

Greenville CSD conducts annual training for all faculty and staff. This training raises awareness and sensitivity to potential acts of discrimination and/or harassment and enables employees to prevent and respond to incidents of discrimination and harassment.

DIGNITY ACT COORDINATORS

The following principals are Dignity Act Coordinators (DAC) for the Greenville Central School District. A DAC is thoroughly trained in methods to respond to human relations in the areas of race, color, weight, national origin, ethnic group, religion, religious practices, disability, sexual orientation, gender (identity and/or expression) and sex. The Board of Education appoints the DAC's in each building. If you are a victim, or witness to, an act of bullying, harassment or discrimination, talk to your teacher, guidance counselor or a Dignity Act Coordinator.
