Greenville Central School District is proud to announce the Top 10 seniors from the graduating Class of 2026. These seniors earned their spot at the top of the class by maintaining the highest cumulative grade point averages throughout their high school careers.
1. Julia Reinhard
Julia Reinhard is the Class of 2026 Valedictorian. Julia has made a lasting impact at Greenville through her leadership, academic excellence, and dedication on and off the field. She has served as Class President, National Honor Society Vice President, and Captain of the Varsity Soccer team. She participated in club soccer, Captains Club, Poetry Club, YMCA Youth & Government, and served as a youth soccer coach in her free time. Julia’s favorite Greenville memories come from late-night soccer practices under the lights with her teammates, combining friendship and her love for the sport. She is especially proud of becoming the first valedictorian “in a family full of salutatorians” and finally deciding on her college plans - studying economics on a pre-law track at SUNY Binghamton. Julia is the daughter of Jason and Courtney Reinhard of Greenville.
2. Nicole Chase
Nicole Chase is the Class of 2026 Salutatorian and has distinguished herself through academic achievement, leadership, and involvement across the arts and athletics. Nicole has been Captain of the Varsity Cheerleading team, President of Student Council, served as the Student Representative on the Building Level Team since middle school, and as the Board of Education Student Representative in her senior year. Throughout high school, Nicole was involved in DECA, where she made it to Regionals, States, and Nationals, National Honor Society, SADD Club, Mixed Treble Chorus, Jazz Band, Concert Band, and four musicals - all while pursuing the full IB Diploma Programme. One of her favorite Greenville memories was traveling to Greece and Italy with her IB Latin class this year. She is most proud of being selected for DECA’s International Career Development Conference in the club’s first year at Greenville. In the fall, she will attend SUNY Oneonta to major in Biochemistry on the pre-med track while double-majoring in Political Science. Nicole is the daughter of Bradley and Renea Chase of Medusa.
3. Zoey Deering
Zoey Deering has embraced her creativity and passion for the arts throughout her time at Greenville. She has been involved in Tech Club, Yearbook Club, Media Club, Drama Club, Stage Crew, and Art Club, helping bring countless productions and projects to life. Zoey’s fondest memories come from working alongside the cast and crew of productions like Les Misérables and Oklahoma! over the past two years. She is especially proud to have been accepted to her top-choice college. This fall, Zoey will attend Rochester Institute of Technology to study Graphic Design. Zoey is the daughter of Katrina Deering of Greenville.
4. Evelyn Corcoran
Evelyn Corcoran has made the most of every opportunity Greenville has had to offer. A standout athlete, she served as Captain of both Varsity Track and Varsity Cross Country, Treasurer of National Honor Society, and participated in Art Club and FFA. Outside of school, she enjoys horseback riding and hiking. Evelyn’s favorite memories include spending time with friends during lunch, going out for food after sports meets, and taking field trips to places like the Bronx Zoo and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She also enjoyed the FFA summer and winter trips! Evelyn is proud of being accepted into college and building meaningful friendships and connections throughout high school. She will attend the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, where she plans to continue competing in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track. Evelyn is the daughter of Ian and Rebecca Corcoran of Greenville.
5. Molly Gardiner
Molly Gardiner has balanced academics, athletics, and community involvement throughout her time at Greenville. She has participated in Varsity Soccer, Varsity Softball, Varsity Track & Field, National Honor Society, and Captains Club. She has volunteered for Greenville Soccer Club events, such as the ice cream social and Brooks BBQ fundraiser, and for the Greenville Food Pantry. Molly’s favorite memories are the everyday moments spent laughing and joking with friends at her lunch table. She is proud to be the only Year 2 IB Spanish student and to have earned a place in the Top 10 of her graduating class. Molly plans to attend Hudson Valley Community College, where she will study Health Sciences and hopes to enter the Radiologic Technology program. Molly is the daughter of Scott and Karen Gardiner of Westerlo.
6. Alana Healy
Alana Healy has combined creativity, leadership, and dedication throughout high school. She served as Vice President of both Tech Club and Yearbook Club and participated in Drama Club, National Honor Society, Mixed Chorus, high school musicals, and middle school productions. Alana’s fondest memories are the friendships she built in her junior and senior years through hanging out and eating lunch in the library each day. She is most proud of spending four years behind the scenes of the high school musicals, where she developed confidence and leadership skills that helped her discover her passion for the arts. She is also proud of successfully balancing a part-time job, rigorous honors courses, and extracurricular activities while maintaining a high academic average. This fall, Alana will attend SUNY New Paltz to major in Theater Production and Design, with plans to minor in Film Studies. Alana is the daughter of Frederick and Jennifer Healy of Greenville.
7. Hanna Tanner
Hanna Tanner has dedicated herself to education, leadership, and service throughout her high school career. Hanna has participated in Student Council, Book Club, Tech Club, National Honor Society, Prom Committee, Mixed Chorus, and Treble Chorus. Her favorite Greenville memory dates back to kindergarten, when she dressed up (crazy wig, and all!) as a rock star for alphabet dress-up day - she was the letter “R.” Hanna is especially proud of being selected for the competitive New Visions Pathways in Education program, where she gained hands-on classroom experience, earned college credits, and explored the field of education. She is also proud of the more than 70 hours she spent shadowing and supporting students in a kindergarten classroom at Ellis. She plans to attend SUNY Albany to study Early Childhood/Childhood Education. Hanna is the daughter of Brian and Rachel Tanner of Rensselaerville.
8. Kaelyn Albano
Kaelyn Albano has taken advantage of and excelled in Greenville's business and leadership opportunities. She is the first student to graduate with Greenville’s Business Pathway distinction. During high school, she participated in Volleyball, Captains Club, National Honor Society, DECA, New Visions, and coached youth basketball. One of Kaelyn’s favorite memories has been coaching the 3rd and 4th Grade Greenville Girls Youth Basketball team and helping younger athletes develop their skills and confidence. She is proud to have been selected as Outstanding Business Student of the Capital District by the Business and Marketing Educators Association and to have completed Greenville’s business pathway program. Kaelyn plans to attend Hudson Valley Community College to study Business before transferring to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She hopes to pursue a career as a real estate agent, business teacher, or both. Kaelyn is the daughter of Matthew and Amy Albano of Greenville.
9. Avary McAneny
Avary McAneny has made a meaningful impact through leadership, athletics, and community service. Throughout high school, she served as the Class of 2026 Vice President, President of the National Honor Society, Captain of the Girls Varsity Soccer team, and Treasurer of the Greenville Athletic Association. She also participated in Treble Chorus, the Musical, Book Club, and Prom Committee. Avary’s favorite Greenville memory was scoring a penalty kick in the sectional quarterfinals against Cobleskill and celebrating the victory with her teammates. She is especially proud of giving back to her community - completing more than 200 hours of community service and organizing the NHS Holiday Food Drive to support the Greenville Food Pantry. This fall, Avary will attend SUNY Geneseo to study Business Administration. Avary is the daughter of Jared and Emma McAneny of Greenville.
10. Ava Bryant
Ava Bryant has combined academics, leadership, and a passion for animals throughout her high school experience. She has participated in Varsity Tennis, musicals, Melodies of Christmas, National Honor Society, DECA, and served as Class Treasurer, while also volunteering with equine rescue organizations. Ava’s favorite Greenville memories include her accounting class and playing on Mr. Lacy’s tennis team. She is especially proud of her work in equine rescue, including rescuing two thoroughbreds, while also excelling academically and building strong relationships with teachers and classmates at Questar III. Ava plans to pursue a degree in Human Resource Management while working as the Town of Coeymans Market Manager and training in secretarial duties. Ava is the daughter of Frank and Regina Bryant of Westerlo.
