Dear Ellis Elementary Families,
I would like to thank Matt Urban for being a catalyst for positive change at the elementary school. He has enhanced many aspects of our school community, and we’re grateful for his positive energy, immense talent, and strong leadership.
With that being said, I want to share that Mr. Urban has accepted the principal position at Bethlehem Central High School. He will begin his new role on July 1st.
This transition will be a significant change for our school. Mr. Urban’s impact on students and staff has been profound, and he will be greatly missed. While we are sad to see him go, we are excited for him as he begins this next chapter and know he will continue to make a positive difference in his new role.
We are committed to a thorough and timely search for our next elementary principal. The position will be posted on Monday, and our goal is to hire someone before the school year begins in September. This process will involve multiple stakeholder groups, as we truly value input from our school community.
