This week is spirit week, field day, and our annual faculty and staff costume race on Friday!
Last week, our plan for Respect/Spirit week was sent home with all students. This year, we're doing our best to tie in the theme of respect throughout each day. Here's the schedule:
Monday
Represent your favorite hero.
The theme is "kindness is our superpower," and we're encouraging everyone to respect our differences.
Tuesday
Wear your favorite tie dye.
The theme is "keep the peace" and we're encouraging everyone to respect their community.
Wednesday
Wear your clothes BACKWARDS.
The theme is "you can’t take back your words." We're encouraging students to respect their classmates.
Thursday
Wear your pajamas or coziest clothes.
The theme is "put bullying to BED," and we're encouraging everyone to be comfortable at school.
Friday
Show school pride, wear maroon and white!
The theme is "we stand together!" Everyone will come together for field day.
We're hoping for good weather for field day on Friday, but if it's a rain out we'll plan accordingly. All of our spirit week themes are connected back to the idea of respect, so please take a look at the schedule with your student so they can better understand why it's important.
