🚒 As a school district, we always want to maintain preparedness for the unexpected. Ellis students, faculty and staff successfully completed not one, but TWO, fire drills today. The purpose of a fire drill is to familiarize and re-enforce proper evacuation routes and practices. Students did a tremendous job listening, following directions, and remaining calm.

🐒 Join us for a School Safari! This event is open to all Ellis students and families. 🐅 Wednesday, August 31 from 3:00-5:00 pm and Thursday, September 1 from 9:00-11:00 am.

The first week of school is only TWO weeks away and we're so excited to welcome our students back! A few reminders to be aware of... 🎒 Classes begin for Grades 1-12 on Wednesday, September 7th. Classes begin for Kindergarten on Thursday, September 8th. 🍉 Our district is no longer eligible to receive the USDA waiver which allowed all students to receive free meals. You must fill out an application to see if your child is eligible to receive free/reduced meals. The Field of Flags gives the lawn of Ellis Elementary a special look for the month of May. On this Memorial Day, we honor those who have died serving our country.
