Hello Ellis Families!
I'm coming to you from the Ellis gymnasium, standing behind a time capsule. When we were cleaning following the construction this summer, we found this 25 year old time capsule buried under the stage. How exciting!
Now, coincidentally, you'll notice it says here on the side of the box, "Open in 2025" - so we're going to do that! In fact, next week we're going to have a virtual time capsule unveiling. We'll unscrew the box and see what's inside. Then, we're going to task our current students with filling up this time capsule AGAIN and sealing it for another 25 years. We'll do that the week before vacation in December.

What a cool opportunity we have here. Think about what you were doing in the year 2000. It doesn't seem that long ago, but it was! Hopefully, the kids have a fun time with this, I'm glad we found it all covered in dust underneath the stage. It should be a really fun opportunity for us!
