As the fear and grief caused by the pandemic slowly lifts, many of us are caught in the middle of the continuum between depression and wellness. This video highlights some tips for moving back into a place of wellness and helping your child become engaged and motivated again. https://youtu.be/goAzWSVIB6Q

Mrs. Jensen's Earth Science classes took a virtual trip to the international space station in preparation for our Friday keynote address by astronaut Stephen Bowen. Each class developed questions to ask Mr. Bowen and selected a student representative to be part of the live interview. What would you ask an astronaut if you had the opportunity?

Help Us Recognize Greenville Greats! Dear Spartan Families, We can safely say that this school year has been like none before. The Greenville administration, teachers, and staff have had to overcome extreme difficulty. If we were to look around the country and see how school districts have handled the pandemic, we would be even prouder of Greenville. We believe when this year becomes history, we’ll be able to say our staff members had Greenville grit. They have risen to the bar set before them and have not let us down. With this said, the MS/HS PTSA is asking families to help honor and show appreciation to our Greenville administration, teachers, and staff through “Greenville Greats,” a staff recognition program running between now and the end of the year. We are asking for donations of $10-$20 (it is okay if you would like to give more or less; any donation is helpful). If you are a business and sell goods (e.g. Norwex, Colorstreet Nails, Pampered Chef, Thirty-one) and would like to donate items, we welcome that too! If you are a business and donate, please include a business card, or your business name, so we can mention you in our letter of appreciation to the administration, teachers, and staff. We will draw staff names randomly each week and hope to continue until the end of the school year. The program will be similar to “Greenville Green.” Names will be drawn, and the winner will choose a prize from the prize list. Our goal is to bring some excitement and joy each week to the “Greats” of Greenville! It is so different this school year, and sometimes the little things are what brightens a day. We are looking forward to starting as soon as possible. Please send donations to the MS/HS by March 15, 2021. Cash or checks made out to GCS MS/HS PTSA are welcome. We will accept donations after that date so that we can sustain the program through the year, but earlier donations will be helpful in getting our appreciation program started. Please contact us by email: Kelly Hubicki (kellyhubicki@gmail.com) or Kristi Ross (kross237@gmail.com) with any questions. Thank you in advance for your generosity, The Greenville MS/HS PTSA
