MR. REEVE'S MORNING MESSAGE - WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25

March 25, 2020

Good morning Greenville Middle School!

I hope everyone is doing well. I have been meeting with all the teams of teachers virtually this week and we all miss you!  I do know that the teachers are telling me how impressed they are with all you and the hard work you have been doing. The faculty and staff have been sending examples of your great work. Keep it up!  Spartan STRONG!

Mr. Hash and I have been looking at the Greenville Greens that were given out yesterday.  Keep up the great work of demonstrating the Spartan STRONG traits! All of the traits were demonstrated yesterday!

Remember at the end of the week, we will (randomly) select two Greenville Green per grade level and announce those selected students school-wide by email on Monday!

Please make sure if you have questions that you email your teacher, teaching assistant or myself and we will get back to you. If you know of a classmate who is having trouble with their internet, please have them call the school at 518-966-5070 ext. 451 and someone will call them.

Morning Message:

SERVING OTHERS - Kindness

Eleanor Roosevelt, the wife of former President Franklin D. Roosevelt, was greatly admired as a humanitarian and as a champion of equal rights. She was a powerful woman who left an indelible mark in the world. Now listen to what she had to say about making a difference:

Put a good deal of thought into the happiness that you are able to give.

She obviously practiced what she preached, because she gave a lot of happiness to others. Today, remember this: You don't need to be famous in order to contribute. Every single one of you is capable of offering a little happiness to others. You can share a smile, a few words of encouragement, or a helping hand. Simple acts of kindness go a long way toward making our school and our world a better place to live in.

With something to think about, this is Mr. Reeve reminding you to Be Kind, Be Responsible, Be The Best You Can Be. The choice is yours. Have a great day!
