MR. REEVE'S MORNING MESSAGE - TUESDAY MAY 26

May 26, 2020

Good morning Greenville Middle School!

Congratulations to the following students whose Greenville Green was selected for our weekly PBIS reward.

I will be emailing these students and other previous winners this month to get them their reward.

Please remember that you all are expected to participate in your learning each day. The learning opportunities the teachers are providing you do allow you to work at your own pace and absorb the content.

It is important for you to make sure if you have some Working Towards (W) as a grade that you redo and resubmit the assignment. If you have any Incompletes (I) please complete and submit them. Please reach out to your teachers if you have any questions.

There are three weeks and two days left to the end of this school year.  Be Spartan STRONG until the end and complete the challenge of receiving all Completes (C) for the quarter!

Have a great week!

Mr. Reeve

Morning Message:

PEER PRESSURE - Moral Courage

Our hearts almost always know the difference between right and wrong.  We just need to listen.  Sometimes it’s hard to listen, especially when our heart is saying “This is wrong” while our mind is telling us “Everyone else is doing it.”

Do you remember the root meaning of the word courage?  It means “the heart.”  Next time you are faced with negative peer pressure, have the courage to listen to your heart.  Then remember these words from Andrew Jackson, 7th president of the United States:

One person with courage makes a majority.

We all know that the majority rules.  So be a leader. Be the one brave enough to say, “Hey.  This is wrong.”  Remember, when you’re courageous enough to do what’s right, you join the ranks of some of the greatest men and women in history.

With something to think about, this is Mr. Reeve reminding you to Be Kind, Be Responsible, Be The Best You Can Be. The choice is yours. Have a great day!
