Good morning Greenville Middle School!
As I discussed yesterday, faculty and staff have started giving out Greenville Greens digitally to support our expectations with PBIS. Faculty and staff will be looking for things students are doing digitally that meet our Spartan STRONG traits.
Remember the Spartan STRONG traits are: Self-Control, Taking Action (asserting themselves appropriately), Responding Respectfully or Responsibly, Offering Empathy, Never Giving Up (persistence), or Growing Together (cooperation). These behaviors can be seen in academics, social behavior, or life skills.
During the week you will get an email from a faculty or staff member if you have received a Greenville Green. It will tell you what Spartan STRONG trait you are being recognized for and will send you a Greenville Green. The Greenville Green being sent to you is different from what I said yesterday. Thank you, Mr. Hash, for figuring out a way for a Greenville Green to be sent to you right away!
Remember at the end of the week, we will (randomly) select two Greenville Green per grade level and announce those selected students school-wide by email!
Please make sure if you have questions that you email your teacher, teaching assistant or myself and we will get back to you. If you know of a classmate who is having trouble with their internet, please have them call the school at 518-966-5070 ext. 451 and someone will call them.

You can’t do it unless you imagine it. He's saying that our imagination allows us to soar to greater heights.
Think about it. If we can't imagine ourselves as successful human beings, we may never spread our wings and fly toward our dreams. So before you go to sleep tonight, take the time to turn off the TV, the video games, and other electronics. Sit quietly. Be still. Then spread your wings and fly into your imagination. Imagine your goals and your dreams. Remember: You are a unique human being with unique dreams, and one of those dreams might someday make a huge difference in our world.
