Remote Learners Meal Request Form
Already receiving remote meals? You are all set and do not need to sign up again.
For those students who are fully remote or hybrid and want remote meals, use this form to sign up for meals. The District plans to have meals available for families to pickup on Tuesdays for the days their children will be learning at home that week.
Breakfast/Lunch: No cost to students from November 2 through June 24, 2021.
Meals can be picked up on Tuesdays from 9 - 9:30 at the back of the High School at Door #17 (to the right of the overhead door).
Please note - Take home meals are for remote learning days only - not for in-person attendance.
Complete a new form for each student.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the USDA has provided flexibility to help schools feed students through the school meal programs. While the District does not meet the 50% threshold of eligible students who meet the criteria for free or reduced-price meals, the District was able to submit an application requesting a waiver for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year. The District was informed today that the waiver was approved!
Starting November 2, 2020, school meals (breakfast and lunch) will be provided at no cost to all interested students, regardless of their income status. This program will continue through the end of the 20-21 school year. It is important however; that all families who feel that they meet the eligibility guidelines, fill out the Application for Free/Reduced Meals as this will allow eligible students to continue to receive free/reduced price meals in September of 2021. The District’s free and reduced eligibility rate is also an important calculation in the total state aid that the District receives.
Students will continue to have the opportunity to purchase a variety of snacks and beverages from our food service areas. Middle and high school students can make purchases in the cafeteria and elementary students can make purchases at the food carts that are brought to each classroom. The K-12 Payment Center allows parents to put money on their child’s account so there is no transfer of money at the time of purchase.
If your child is learning remotely and you would like to pick up meals, please fill out the survey that is on our website by clicking on the blue COVID update banner. The Remote Learners Meal Request Form is linked under “Parent Communications.”
If you have any questions, please contact Tracy Churchill, our Food Services Supervisor at (518) 966-5070 ext. 429.

K12PaymentCenter is a website for parents/guardians to pay for their child’s school meals using a credit or debit card. This online service allows parents to view a child’s account balance as well as their purchases. Food Service transitioned from My School Bucks in March. A few items parents and guardians will need to know regarding this change.
1. All student balances from My School Bucks have been transferred and verified to the new system.
2. Student PIN codes will remain the same in the new system.
3. Parents and guardians will need to create a new online account with the new system “ K12PaymentCenter.”
