The PTA is an essential partner in providing excellent learning experiences for students at Scott M. Ellis Elementary School. PTA provides parents with an opportunity to be involved in school life, and to better understand the programs and events that happen during and beyond the school day.
By being involved, parents have the opportunity to build relationships with other parents, teachers and the building principal. Together, we share experiences and ideas that can be used to create or strengthen programs that support the academic and social needs of our children. Several meetings each year will be dedicated to providing parents resources on specific topics. We encourage families to take part in these evening offerings.
Finally, being active in PTA is another opportunity for community involvement. By being part of PTA, parents and teachers play a role in creating solutions to the challenges schools face today. Our discussions are richer when many parents and teachers are at our meetings; please join us.PTA meetings will be held from 6:15 to 7:15pm in the elementary school cafeteria except where noted.
