June 15, 2020

Good morning Greenville Middle School!

Make it a Spartan STRONG day by Taking Action of your learning.  With two days to go in the school year, it is important for you to make sure if you have some Working Towards (W) as a grade that you redo and resubmit the assignment. If you have any Incompletes (I) please complete and submit them. Please reach out to your teachers if you have any questions. If you have all Completes (C), great job!  Keep up the great work!

Have a great day!

Morning Message:

I’m Listening!

Have you ever needed someone to listen to you, but you could tell he or she wasn’t really listening at all?  Maybe that person acted preoccupied or kept interrupting or making judgments.  It’s frustrating at best and hurtful at worst. On the other side of the coin, it’s people who are good listeners to whom we often feel the closest.

Author Sue Patton Thoele writes:

Deep listening is miraculous for both listener and speaker.  When someone receives us with open-hearted, non-judging, intensely interested listening, our spirits expand.

That’s because when someone listens deeply to us, we feel respected, valued, and cared about.  Active and deep listening is a life skill that we can learn, and it’s important to any successful relationship.  So listen up, because when human beings learn to listen to one another, the world is a better place.

With something to think about, this is Mr. Reeve reminding you to Be Kind, Be Responsible, Be The Best You Can Be. The choice is yours. Have a great day!
