MR. REEVE'S MORNING MESSAGE - THURSDAY, JUNE 11

June 11, 2020

Good morning Greenville Middle School!

Today is the last day of highlighting our students who were recognized as Students of the Month and Spartan Strong Students selected by their grade-level teachers from February - May. These students will receive a certificate that will be mailed home.  Congratulations to these students!

Students of the Month for May were selected by grade-level teachers for showing excellent academic effort and responsible, respectful behavior.

Spartan Strong students of the month for May were selected by grade-level teachers for being positive role models for being Spartan STRONG.

Make it a Spartan STRONG day by Taking Action of your learning.  With a few days to go in the school year, it is important for you to make sure if you have some Working Towards (W) as a grade that you redo and resubmit the assignment. If you have any Incompletes (I) please complete and submit them. Please reach out to your teachers if you have any questions. If you have all Completes (C), great job!  Keep up the great work!

Have a great day!

Mr. Reeve

Morning Message:

Books Take You Places

Most of you remember Dr. Seuss, the famous author of children’s books like Cat in the Hat.  Dr. Seuss once wrote that:

The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you

learn, the more places you’ll go.

That is so true.  With a book, you’re not restricted by time, money, or resources when it comes to traveling.  You can travel as far as the author takes you and as far as your mind will go.  Reading is an escape into places you may never have the opportunity to experience firsthand, and into the lives of people you won’t ever meet.

Discover the pure joy of recreational reading. Turn off the television and the video games and pick up a good book. Reading is an activity that will enrich your life in more ways than you can imagine.

With something to think about, this is Mr. Reeve reminding you to Be Kind, Be Responsible, Be The Best You Can Be. The choice is yours. Have a great day!
