REACHING FOR GREATNESS
Every single one of us has the potential for greatness, no matter what circumstances we were born into, no matter what types of challenges we face. Greatness can manifest in many ways. One can be a great athlete, teacher, school bus driver, or postal worker. One can be a great parent, volunteer, or friend. Greatness can mean possessing great love, generosity, or compassion.
Listen to these words by Wilma Rudolph, one of the most celebrated female athletes of all time, who achieved greatness against all odds. She says to you:
Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human spirit. We are all the same in this notion:
The potential for greatness lives within each of us.
Today, ask yourself these very important questions: What greatness lies in me? Am I determined to bring out that greatness and reach my full potential?
