Good morning Greenville Middle School!

Today I would like to point out Mr. Hash’s Spartan STRONG Game Board for Week 10.  Mr. Hash started these boards with the idea of the importance that we continue to be Spartan STRONG no matter where we are. He has been posting a weekly board with different ways to demonstrate the STRONG traits. You can find the boards on the district website under the middle school page. Here is a link to this week's game board - Game Board - Week 10

The theme of the Game Board this week is Never Give Up.  My favorite part on the Game Board is clicking on the game square with Mr. Hash saying PHEW!  Once you click on it up comes a simple game to Help Your Brain Grow By Taking A Break. As I do my work today I am going to plan quick little breaks to roll the dice and help my brain grow.  You should too!  Take a look!

Make it a Spartan STRONG day by Taking Action of your learning.  With less than two weeks to go in the school year, it is important for you to make sure if you have some Working Towards (W) as a grade that you redo and resubmit the assignment. If you have any Incompletes (I) please complete and submit them. Please reach out to your teachers if you have any questions. If you have all Completes (C), great job!  Keep up the great work!

Have a great weekend!

Mr. Reeve

Morning Message:

DIVERSITY - Uniqueness

They say no two snowflakes are alike.  That’s amazing to think about when you consider all the millions and trillions and quadrillions of snowflakes that fall to earth each winter.  Imagine - each snowflake a different shape and a different size, unique and unrepeatable.  Sounds like human beings.

Remember what Juan Mascaro said:

Each one of us is a unique event in the universe.

Now listen to this little poem about snowflakes:

Though each flake is very different

There is one point you should know:

As the snowflakes reach the Earth below

They become one in a great blanket of snow.

Which brings me to this:  Just like a great blanket of snow, made up of all those unique and unrepeatable snowflakes, we are one huge blanket of unique and unrepeatable human beings covering Planet Earth.  Imagine that!

With something to think about, this is Mr. Reeve reminding you to Be Kind, Be Responsible, Be The Best You Can Be. The choice is yours. Have a great day!
