June 1, 2020

Good morning Greenville Middle School!

Congratulations to the following 7th-grade students who earned the Principal’s Award for maintaining an overall average of 90% or higher for 3 marking periods this year: Michael P., Alisa R., and Anthony Z.

Congratulations to 8th-grade student Lucas M. who earned the President’s Award for Academic Excellence for maintaining an average of 90% or higher for 3 marking periods this year

My apologies to these students for the oversight in our awards program last Thursday.  Congratulations again to these four students and all the students who received awards last week!

Congratulations to the following students whose Greenville Green was selected for our weekly PBIS reward.

With just a little over two weeks to go in the school year, it is important for you to make sure if you have some Working Towards (W) as a grade that you redo and resubmit the assignment. If you have any Incompletes (I) please complete and submit them. Please reach out to your teachers if you have any questions.

Be Spartan STRONG and make it a great day!

Mr. Reeve

Morning Message:

GOLDEN RULE - Kindness

Most of us want to be liked and appreciated by others.  We want to have friends who love and respect us.  We want our parents and teachers and coaches to like us, too.  It feels good to be well-liked, don’t you think?

Listen to what Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, great American author, and speaker, has to say about being liked:

Getting people to like you is only the other side of liking them.

In other words, when we make an effort to be kind and show others what we like about them, they will … usually … like us in return.  Sounds like the Golden Rule again, doesn’t it?  We could say:  “Like others as you would have them like you.”  Today, look for the good in yourself and others.

With something to think about, this is Mr. Reeve reminding you to Be Kind, Be Responsible, Be The Best You Can Be. The choice is yours. Have a great day!
