Good morning Greenville Middle School!

Please remember that you all are expected to participate in your learning each day. The learning opportunities the teachers are providing you do allow you to work at your own pace and absorb the content. Make sure if you have any questions that you reach out to your teachers by email or by attending their Google Meets. Continue to be Spartan STRONG!!

The Six Flags Read to Succeed Program is a free program sponsored by Six Flags Theme Parks.  Students in grades K through 6 are required to complete 6 hours of recreational, non-school-related reading and keep a log of their reading.  After submission of the information, a student is eligible to receive a free admission ticket to a Six Flags Theme Park.  The following 6th-grade students have earned a free ticket this year:

Jude A.     Aubrie C.     Thomas V.     John V.     Emmaleigh V.

Congratulations to those students and have fun at Six Flags!!

Enjoy the sunshine and have a great day!

Morning Message:

EDUCATION - Success/Happiness

Abigail Adams was the first lady of the White House and the wife of John Adams, second president of the United States.  Although Mrs. Adams had very little formal education, she became one of the most educated women of her time. How?  She educated herself by reading, by studying, and by spending time with brilliant people.

Now listen to her words, written two hundred years ago:

Learning is not gained by chance, it must be sought for with ardor and attended to with diligence.

Mrs. Adams is saying we should look for opportunities to learn and look with ardor, which means with excitement and passion.  In other words, we need to get excited about learning and never miss an opportunity to learn something new. Why? Because with every opportunity to learn something new comes an opportunity for a little more success, happiness, and wisdom.

With something to think about, this is Mr. Reeve reminding you to Be Kind, Be Responsible, Be The Best You Can Be. The choice is yours. Have a great day!
