MR. REEVE'S MORNING MESSAGE - THURSDAY, APRIL 23

April 23, 2020

Good morning Greenville Middle School!

Today I would like to point out Mr. Hash’s Spartan STRONG Choice Board for week 5.  Mr. Hash started these choice boards with the idea of the importance that we continue to be Spartan STRONG no matter where we are. He has been posting a weekly choice board with different ways to demonstrate the STRONG traits. You can find the choice boards on the district website under the middle school page. Here is a link to this week's choice board - Choice Board-Week 5

My favorite this week is Never Give Up - Inspirational People.  Being a former social studies teacher, Abraham Lincoln is in my top 3 of American Presidents and the struggles he overcame in his life. Who is your inspirational person in your life?

Just a reminder of my challenge to you and that is for you to receive a COMPLETE for all your assignments. In order to meet this challenge, it is important for you to make sure if you have questions to attend your teacher’s offices or reach out to them with an email.

Have a great day!

Mr. Reeve

Morning Message:

LAUGHTER - Lightheartedness

Did you know that Thomas Edison believed that laughter is important to teamwork? That's right. He once said that people who laugh together work more cooperatively and effectively. And did you know that Albert Einstein also believed that many of his discoveries were the result of his playfulness?

The ancient Hebrews used to say:

A merry heart does good, like medicine.

Today, researchers believe that laughter actually strengthens our immune systems, reduces stress, and improves our circulation.  So, let's work hard today but with a light heart. We might be happier, healthier, and more productive.

With something to think about, this is Mr. Reeve reminding you to Be Kind, Be Responsible, Be The Best You Can Be. The choice is yours. Have a great day!
