MR. REEVE'S MORNING MESSAGE - THURSDAY, APRIL 16

April 16, 2020

Good morning Greenville Middle School!

I hope your week is going well.

Remember to keep an eye on completion dates for assignments.  If you are struggling with keeping track of your assignments, try making a list of them in order by due dates or enter them into your Google calendar.  If you need help with this, please reach out to a teacher, teaching assistant, or myself.

While you are working during the day and if you start to feel overwhelmed with anything, please stop and think about our Spartan STRONG traits (especially N - Never Give Up). You have the strength to get through it. Also, part of being Spartan STRONG is asking for help if you feel you can’t get through what is overwhelming you.  Please make sure to reach out to a family member or one of our staff members at school if you need help with anything.

  • Self-Control

  • Taking Action (asserting yourself appropriately)

  • Responding Respectfully or Responsibly

  • Offering Empathy

  • Never Giving Up (persistence)

  • Growing Together (cooperation)

Have a great day!

Mr. Reeve

Morning Message:

CITIZENSHIP - Values/Patriotism

Listen to these words from former President Ronald Reagan, spoken to a group of young people:

Be very careful not to throw away the values that have been tested through time.

And what are time-tested values? They're values such as honesty, moral courage, duty, and virtue. Today, think about the values that are guiding your choices. The values you choose to live by determine the choices you make, and the choices you make today determine your future . . . and maybe the future of our country.

With something to think about, this is Mr. Reeve reminding you to Be Kind, Be Responsible, Be The Best You Can Be. The choice is yours. Have a great day!
