MR. REEVE'S MORNING MESSAGE - FRIDAY, April 3

April 3, 2020

Good morning Greenville Middle School!

Happy Friday!  Great job completing another week of distance learning!  I hope the week went well for you. Looking at the Greenville Greens so far this week, many are getting one for Taking Action. As students, you are taking action for your new way of learning.  Keep it up! If you have questions please make sure you are reaching out to your teacher.

As I said yesterday, today is the first Friday of the month so hopefully, everyone is showing a little school spirit today and you are wearing your MAROON and WHITE!!  If you would like to, please send me any pictures of you showing your school spirit.  Over the next week, I am going to put the pictures together to put out for the school community to see. If you don’t want everyone to see your picture please let me know.

Have a great weekend!

Mr. Reeve

Morning Message:

ALTRUISM - Making A Difference

Many of you know the story of Anne Frank, a young Jewish girl who lived in hiding from the Nazis during World War II. She lived in the midst of a true nightmare, yet she didn't give up her belief in the human spirit.

Now listen to her words:

How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.

Today, remember this: We can start to improve the world around us at this very moment. How? By simply giving ourselves and others a little love, encouragement, and understanding.

So don't waste any time today. Make the world a better place simply by being the best you can be to yourself and others. Remember: Moment by moment, person by person, we can improve our world.

With something to think about, this is Mr. Reeve reminding you to Be Kind, Be Responsible, Be The Best You Can Be. The choice is yours. Have a great day!
