MR. REEVE'S MORNING MESSAGE - THURSDAY, MARCH 26

March 26, 2020

Good morning Greenville Middle School!

I checked the Greenville Greens out this morning and I am continuing to see great comments about your hard work.  Keep up the great work of demonstrating the Spartan STRONG traits!

Remember at the end of the week, we will (randomly) select two Greenville Green per grade level and announce those selected students school-wide by email on Monday!

Make sure you get outside with your family at some point today for some fresh air and to let out some energy.  Make everyone go out and at least get a walk in. I know I will!

Please make sure if you have questions that you email your teacher, teaching assistant or myself and we will get back to you. If you know of a classmate who is having trouble with their internet, please have them call the school at 518-966-5070 ext. 451 and someone will call them.

Morning Message:

POTENTIAL - Success

As a young person, you may feel that you are powerless to do anything really grand and wonderful in the world. Well, think again. Did you know that the state flag of Alaska was designed by a student? . . . that the first synthetic dye was made by an eighteen-year-old boy? . . . that Superman was created by two teenagers?

And guess what. You, too, are full of potential, regardless of your age or circumstances.

Booker T. Washington once said

Character, not circumstances, make the [person].

Today remember this: Whatever your age or circumstance, if you believe in yourself and if you act with character, you can achieve something grand and wonderful, too.

With something to think about, this is Mr. Reeve reminding you to Be Kind, Be Responsible, Be The Best You Can Be. The choice is yours. Have a great day!
